The goal of a sustainably farmed wine is not perfection,

but rather to truly and authentically reflect the character of a place,

variety and vintage, as well as the passion of the people who make it.

2011 Cabernet Sauvignon

Made from grapes grown in Malibu, CA and aged for 23 months in new French Oak barrels. A richly expressive yet vibrant mélange of earthy aromas of fresh crushed sweet herbs, dark cassis and sweet eucalyptus. Full and lush on the palate with a plush core of dark cherry, fresh tarragon and earthy spice.

2011 Liberator

Made from a Boudreaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec  grapes grown in the Santa Monica Mountains, CA.  Aged in 50% new French Oak barrels for 23 months, it expresses rich aromas of deep cherry, wild strawberry and a weighty berry liquor finish. It’s supple and smooth mouth feel lingers with an intoxicating finish of luscious berry and dark chocolate covered caramel.

Dedicated to Sherry’s father, John Martyn, who passed away in November 2013 at age 91. A WWII veteran, John served in the South Pacific as a gunner on a B24 “Liberator” Bomber. Loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, his memory will live forever in our hearts.

2011 Akademia

Made from Syrah grapes grown locally in Malibu and nearby Santa Rosa Hills and aged for 23 months in new French Oak barrels. Beautifully expressive aromas of sweet blueberry, cracked pepper and cocoa leads to a wonderful array of boysenberry flavors, crushed black pepper, and chocolate truffle fanning out nicely at the finish.

Dedicated to Gena, my teenage daughter whose academic prowess continues to amaze me. Akademia was Plato's school for advanced education and the first institutional school of philosophy.
