2010 Cuvee Zuma
Dedicated to our fiercely protective and loving vineyard Dog, “Zuma Cortez”. Our 2010 Cuvee Zuma is a delicious blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Aged in Hungarian Oak for 24 months, this inky wine unveils aromas of dark cassis, caramel and blueberry custard with layered flavors of Blueberries, cocoa, hints of licorice and a dark chocolate caramel finish.
Our 2010 Syrah was made from Syrah grapes grown locally in Malibu and nearby Santa Rosa Hills. Aged for 23 months in French and Hungarian Oak, beautifully expressive aromas of sweet blueberry, light cracked pepper and a hint of tropical fruit, leads to a wonderful array of flavors, dark blueberry, cassis, lavender and chocolate truffle fanning out nicely at the finish.
2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 23 months in French and Hungarian Oak barrels, vibrant aromas of fresh red berries, cherry liquor, coca and light caramel. sweet custard with fresh berries, light caramel, elegant barrel & fruit valance: not a loudmouth but quietly complex with a good story to tell that is worth listening to.
2010 Cuvee Aya
Dedicated to Aya, our adopted African Savannah Cat and leader of the Martyn cat pride who passed away in 2012. Our 2010 Cuvee Aya is a delicious blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, with a splash of Malbec. Aged in French Oak for 23 months, it has deep rich berry flavors, hints of licorice which is smooth on the palate.
